Application screening is complete, we would like to use this opportunity to thank you all for applying to the Petnica Summer School of Machine Learning 2016. We received over 300 applications, so we had a very hard time defining the next phase of the selection process and selecting candidates.
The next phase in the application process is homework assignment that will evaluate your coding skills. Please understand as the school is about hands on experience with Machine Learning we have to make sure selected candidates are experienced coders.
All applicants have been informed on the application decision via email. Please check your inbox (and your spam/junk folder) to find out if you are selected for the homework assignment. Petnica Science Center and Microsoft Development Center Serbia cordially invite interested university students to apply to participate in the summer school, "Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition", which will be held from July 14th to 23rd, 2016, in Petnica, Serbia.
The aim: During the summer school, lecturers from Microsoft Development Center Serbia will share their extensive experience and knowledge of working on Machine Learning. All day courses will involve theoretical and practical work, during which the participants will work on project tasks along with experts in these areas with the aim of improving knowledge in mentioned areas.
For whom: The summer school is open for students of technical/mathematical disciplines, especially final year undergrad students or graduate students. Do note that some prior math/programming knowledge is desirable and will be considered a plus.
By whom: Lectures will be given by Microsoft Development Center Serbia employees who are working on Machine Learning related projects and Petnica Science Center (PSC) associates.
